Terms of Service

What the service does today
AIOptimization.ca currently offers a browser-only instruction formatter for AI coding tools, a limited opt-in AI review of the generated instruction pack, a read-only readiness scan that fetches a single public web page you submit and reports what the returned HTML contains, and an OpenAI discovery snapshot that asks one OpenAI model three buyer-style questions once, with web search, and reports whether your business name or domain appeared in those answers or their cited sources. The instruction formatter runs locally in your browser and its form content is not sent to us unless you explicitly request the AI review. That review evaluates the brief only. It does not inspect code, test security, certify the finished product, or make changes. The site also offers an early-access list. Signed-in customers can subscribe to recurring monitoring, keep a private history, and receive prioritized recommendations. The example report on the public site remains illustrative and is not a report about a real customer.
Acceptable use
Scan sites you own or are authorised to review. Do not use the scan to attempt access to private, internal, or restricted systems, to test addresses you have no relationship with at volume, or to work around our rate limits and safety checks. We may limit or block use that appears automated or abusive.
How we fetch pages
Each scan makes one read-only GET request from our server for the page you submit, and one further read-only GET for each HTTP redirect it must follow, at most three redirects, so at most four page requests in total. Requests identify themselves with an AIOptimization.ca user agent, stop after eight seconds in total, read at most one megabyte of HTML, and send no cookies or credentials. We do not fetch other pages, assets, sitemaps, robots.txt, or third-party sites, and we never write to your website.
A discovery snapshot makes three independent requests to an OpenAI model, through the Lovable AI gateway, from our server. It does not fetch your website, your competitors' websites, or any other page itself, and the questions we send contain no business name, domain, or competitor name.
Snapshot limitations
A discovery snapshot is three answers from one model at one moment. It is not a ranking, not a score, not a measure of every AI assistant, and not evidence of how often you are recommended in general. Answers change with model updates, phrasing, and live search results, so two snapshots taken minutes apart can differ.
Accuracy and no guarantees
Results are informational and describe one page at one moment in time. AI assistants and search engines generate answers rather than publishing fixed rankings, so nobody can guarantee that a business will be mentioned or recommended. Nothing in a report is professional, legal, or financial advice, and you remain responsible for the changes you make to your website.
Availability and changes
The service is provided as-is, without warranties. We may change, pause, or retire features, and we will make reasonable efforts to protect paid access and stored account data during planned changes. Features described as coming later may change or may not ship.
Pricing and billing
Monitor is $29 CAD per month and Compete is $79 CAD per month unless a different price is clearly shown before checkout. Subscriptions are month-to-month and renew automatically until cancelled. Stripe processes payment details; AIOptimization.ca does not receive or store complete card numbers. You can manage or cancel a subscription from your account. Cancellation stops future renewals and access continues through the paid billing period, subject to Stripe confirming the change. Fees already charged are not automatically refundable. Joining the early-access list does not create a paid subscription.
